Swarna, or the one that is Gold! This Gold Zari Silk Kurta from Meiraas, is anointed with delicate Resham Chikankari in Gold hue, with the Fruit of Awadh – Ambi.

KHAYAL (mood-board):

Swarna is a hue we love! We introduced the fabric of Zari Silk (or Tissue) with Resham Chikankari, back in 2020, with our Dhanlakshmi collection. Since then, this is one of our most revered & loved creations.

Our moodboard was inspired by the ancient Indian sculptures that showcased very intricate & deep work on rich fabrics. We wanted to explore this unexplored dimension with Chikankari work, and it turned out ethereal!!

POSHAAK (about the dress):

Swarna Ambi or the Golden Mango is an ode to the Fruit of Awadh. The front panel & sleeves of the kurta are heavily designed with miniature Paisley Motif, and the back has a stunning Floral motif with very rare stitches of Bijli & Murri.

Hand embroidered in Resham Chikankari with Gold on Gold moodboard, this is one kurta that will be the cynosure of all eyes.

We wanted to create a more functional Kurti for the festive & wedding seasons, where one is running between events, & wants elegance and opulence, ready at their fingertips.

Just add some well chosen diamonds or emeralds with this Kurti, for a rich and yet sublime look.
