Khayal (moodboard): Rajnigandha collection is inspired by Everyday Effortless charm of saree draping from 1970s-80s, when the ladies of our homes used to drape sarees for everyday chores, & not just for occasions. There was a certain careless abandon in this style, that made the drapes very relatable and one with the wearer, which is an emotion missing now from saree draping. Since the collection finds its muse in 1970s middle cinema heroines, like Vidya Sinha, the names are kept reminiscent of the romance of those ages!! Paan Shot, is a playful name for a much loved condiment dessert we all love having, as a memory of an old culinary culture.

Paan Shot is a beautiful shadow work saree created with a grand palla and stunning border work. The stunning deep Green hue ties together the concept of Paan or Betel leaf condiment.

Hand embroidered Handspun Handwoven Cotton, this saree perfect for multiple occasions from Corporate Board room to make a powerful statement, to day time formal occasions, and even that much desired travel to explore a place of heritage.

IMP:

1.)Please Note, this is a Khadi Cotton saree, which is dyed after the embroidery. There will be non uniformity in colour gradation. This is the charm of Khadi and its differentiating factor.

2,)The colour is hand dyed in bright shade. If you decide to wash the saree at home, by hand, in cold water and mild detergent, you can do so (dry in complete shade indoors only). The excess colour will bleed; this is very normal for initial washes. Please avoid pairing such bright coloured sarees with white or light coloured blouses. The colour will not come off on its own, but if the saree gets wet for some reason, then chances of a lighter fabric spoiling can be high.
