KHAYAL (moodboard): Elinor Dashwood is one of the lead protagonists in Jane Austen's 1811 classic, Sense & Sensibility. While the younger Dashwood sister, Marianne, is celebrated popularly, for her free spirited & innocent character, Elinor is the quiet and responsible older sister, with a lot of depth of character. Her story, and her being a pillar of support for her family, in adverse situations, shows her silent strength. This was our inspiration behind creating this soft, yet impactful and beautiful dupatta. POSHAAK (about the dupatta): White Chikankari Kota Doria dupatta with Powder Blue delicate Tepchi Chikankari embroidery allover, showcases the character spirit of Elinor Dashwood. Slow, quiet & very subtle, yet with an impactful presence, just like this beautiful dupatta. The dupatta is perfect for the scorching summers, & can be paired with many neutral coloured outfits. Zou Bisou dress is an homage to the Awadh French Connect of the past.
