POSHAAK (about the product): Soft cotton Chikankari Kurta with beautiful ghaspatti, shadow, orma & lovely hathkati (hand cutwork) stitches, dyed in Azo Free Dyes with Mother of Pearl button detailing. Neembu Kulfi is a unique summer treat, now made by very few local ice cream makers at their home, which has no electricity!!! Can you imagine this!! The colour inspiration is from those little ice treats that had a fresh pale lemony colour. Important:

KHAYAL (moodboard): The skyline of Lucknow is incomplete without the gliding silence of Kites. Watching them is a therapeutic & out of body exprience. During our childhood, taking cups of tea in the evening & sitting on the rooftop & watching the gliding Kites was a popular Luckhnavi leisue activity, as was flying it. Times changed & everything became fast paced, pushing these slow activities to the backburner. They were seen as something ancient & not quite fitting in. Still, when we meet our Lucknow friends or family, the glding & elegant Kites make way back into the conversation with the oft repeated "Don't know where that time flew by" - Power of Silence. This motif of Chikankari is an exclusive design of Meiraas launched in 2018. POSHAAK (about the dress): Patangbaazi or the Kite Flying Ritual as it was called is shown on the Kurta with delicate floral patterns in pastel Yellow colour in Meiraas Exclusive Semi Stitched Kurta made on Handloom Cotton. A gentle smattering of Mukaish adds the starry charm to this visage. The lace adds charm & romance to the ethereal Kurta. While the Kurta is not exactly opaque as it is White, it is a Cotton Kurta with Chikankari & will not necessarily need lining, unless you choose to take one. Additional Details: This Kurta can be stitched up-till sizes S (small) to XXL (Extra Extra Large) only. Please select your size & we will stitch it complimentary.
