KHAYAL (mood-board):
Flowers, leaves and fruits, together form the symphony of a pleasure garden. They symbolise the rule of nature that signals budding, flowering and fruiting, to complete the natural cycle of birth and re-birth.
This Cherry motif is an elegant fruit & leaf motif, that is part of a bigger motif all three live giving energies of a plant.
With this addition to Chikankari bouquet, we have added one more fruit motif to the existing repertoire.
POSHAAK (about the dress):
Cherry tunic is made in Handloom Red Gold Zari Silk (Tissue), with Cherry motif embroidered in Resham Chikankari. The front panel & sleeves are heavily embroidered, while the back has a statement motif of intertwined Cherry leaves, stalks & fruits in a love knot.
This kurti does not need much in terms of accessories. Just some well-chosen diamonds or polkis are enough.
We wanted to create a functional Kurti, yet regal for the festive & wedding seasons, where one is running between events, & wants elegance and opulence, ready at their fingertips.

KHAYAL (mood-board):
Swarna is a hue we love! We introduced the fabric of Zari Silk (or Tissue) with Resham Chikankari, back in 2020, with our Dhanlakshmi collection. Since then, this is one of our most revered & loved creations.
Our moodboard was inspired by the ancient Indian sculptures that showcased very intricate & deep work on rich fabrics. We wanted to explore this unexplored dimension with Chikankari work, and it turned out ethereal!!
POSHAAK (about the dress):
Swarna Ambi or the Golden Mango is an ode to the Fruit of Awadh. The front panel & sleeves of the kurta are heavily designed with miniature Paisley Motif, and the back has a stunning Floral motif with very rare stitches of Bijli & Murri.
Hand embroidered in Resham Chikankari with Gold on Gold moodboard, this is one kurta that will be the cynosure of all eyes.

Chikankari has been seen as the summer wear for the past 100-150 years or so. However, the embroidery in itself, has enough mettle to be practised with perfect finesse on various fabrics. This has been the endeavour of Meiraas since our inception.
We wanted to make this Craft more fluid to other seasons as well, as Chikankari represents the silent art of tone on tone classic beauty, that is endearing to almost everyone in every season. It speaks of class, elegance, discerning taste and grace. Its foray into Shawls was more ordained than ever imagined.
We had started working on Chikankari Shawls since 2017, but the perfecting of its form happened now.
It is no surprise that our choice of colour for the first shawl was pure white with tone on tone embroidery, as that is the moodboard Chikankari is most associated with; A Class Apart Heirloom in the World of Luxury Drapes.
POSHAAK (about the dress):
The Konia boota Resham Chikankari embroidered shawl takes inspiration from ivory & marble carvings that are delicate, timeless, rich & evocative, and the traditional konia boota classic warm drapes.
This pure merino wool shawl has been embroidered on tow diagonal ends with a very fine & intricate floral motif, featuring an array of rare stitches like Jaali (qasab taar), Bijli, Kaante, Phada, Keel, Kangan, kauri, amongst many stitches. The body is scattered with a beautiful miniature phool patti motif running all through the shawl.
This shawl is a lighter to drape, making it easier to drape on many occasions, and is a remarkable piece of wearable art.
This is an Heirloom Shawl that can be passed from generation to generation. More than the warmth that the wool gives, this will be a cherished memory full of warmth of hands that embroidered it, & hands that picked it up and owned it, like a piece of textile jewel, that it is.

This saree is Made On Order only and will take at least 4 months to get made. We will obviously try faster turn around, however if required this timeline can be 1-2 weeks extended too; after all such pieces are rarest of rare & require full attention to detail. Mihikavan is Heirloom Chikankari 2 Taar Pure Georgette Saree in Almond Beige hue with full jaal floral embroidery. The Palla has breathtaking latticework stitch in rare & old Paisley motif. A rare Heirloom Piece!!
KHAYAL (moodboard):
Kamadeva (God of Desire) and Basant (Spring) decide to break the tapa of Kaamajeyi Mahadev, and get him attracted to the beauty of Parvati ji. To set this scene of romance, they paint a rugged forest, where the tapa is going on, into a place of beautiful desire, an enchanted forest garden. In an instant, Basant transforms the rugged terrain into a Floral Paradise; his painting is so beautiful that all beings are turned on to create a valley of love, the culmination of this beauty happens when a dormant tree trunk starts sprouting flowers, & a Latika or Creeper of Flowers engulfs the trunk with her grip of love!!
Kalidasa ji paints so beautifully with words, almost as beautifully as our artisans create art with needle and thread.
Mihikavan means Mihika (dewdrops) of Vana (Forest garden). When I see the art on this saree, I think of the first rays of sun touching the Mihika and the whole enchanted forest garden of Kumaarsambhav penned by Kalidasa ji come alive. POSHAAK (about the saree):
Mihikavan Heirloom Chikankari, made on Pure Georgette Silk (certified Silk Mark India). The saree is embroidered all over with the Palla having antique Paisley motif replete with Latticework Stitch (jaali) with qasab taar detailing. The full saree is embroidered with very inticate floral motif. Stitches like shadow, ghaspatti, orma, jaali, zanjeera, hool make this stunning saree. Mukaish stars create the much needed Mihika in this Garden created with needles and thread. The embroidery is done with 2 Taar Resham Thread and is extremely rare.
Please note that the actual colour of this saree is light almond or beige. The darker colours that you see in some photographs is lighting effect. The Cover pic and 3rd last image are shot against a backlight to show you the neatness of the work. This saree will come out most beautifully on Pure Georgette only. KHAYAL (mood-board):
Amer motif was created by us in the year 2020. The motif is a replica of Amer Fort, Jaipur Guldaan art done in Molten Glass in the original monument. This motif inspired us to create a range of Amer inspired Chikankari garments, as artfully, Amer Fort is one of the most beautiful forts we have seen so far.
To add to this, Noir, is a series we had created a couple of years back, to celebrate a new dimension in Chikankari embroidery - the tone on tone dark. We started this process with Black, & since then have tried Moss Green, and now moving to explore Oxblood shade. This kind of Chikankari is the opposite of classic & ethereal White on White or pastel Tone on Tone. This is rich, decadent, sultry, elegant, mysterious & yet, stately.
POSHAAK (about the dress):
This rich Oxblood shade kurta has a beautiful ghaspatti bel neckline. It features an antique late 19th Century miniature flower vase motif, which also finds its parallel in Amer fort. This is why we picked this motif to go along with the grand Amer motif newly crafted by us.
This motif is scattered on the sleeves and front of the Kurta, and the back has the grand Amer Vase motif, along with keel bootis.
It is a beautiful, artful Kurta that is sure to turn heads and become a conversation starter.

Noir is desire, Noir is decadence, Noir is dark, Noir is a mood. Chikankari Noir is a moodboard introduced by Meiraas as a reversal of the classic White on White Chikankari. The Noir version is the Black Swan to the classic White Swan Chikankari. It is rarer, deeper and goes to darker depths of mystery.
Noir was first introduced as a concept on Silks (Tussar & Chanderi), and now we had added one of teh conscious fabrics, Eri Silk in its repertoire, with exemplary antique 3 taar Resham embroidery done on antique motifs with masterclass detailing.
POSHAAK (about the dress):
The front of the kurta has an antique miniature floral booti scattered all over, with a fine Ghaspatti bel. The black on black rare work, on an even rarer fabric, gives it a very rich look. The sleeves have smaller floral bootis. The back has a stunning statement Floral Art arrangement. Finest and rarest of stitches in Chikankari have made this kurta come to reality.

KHAYAL (mood-board):
Our Pauranic Literature & History mentions many great Gods, Demi Gods, Fantastical beasts that are deified, all of whom have birthed the species that exist today on our planet. Airavat, the father of elephants, is described as an 11 trunked, three headed, many tusked gigantic elephant king, that serves as the Mount of Indra, the God of Rain and the King of Devas.
Airavat has been a part of many Dev Asur battles, and has a significant presence in our Pauranic lores. The idea to introduce Pauranic creatures in Chikankari, was birthed basis an 18th Century swatch of Sri Lakshmi goddess in Chikankari, housed in National Museum, New Delhi.
This, and an informal interviews with private collectors and ancestral artisans confirmed, that Deities of Pauranic lore, were very much part of Chikankari.
Taking inspiration from this thought, we now launch our first motif of this kind, Airavat. The one that exudes Power & Intelligence, along with humility & grace!
POSHAAK (about the dress):
This Eri Silk kurta has one of the most stunning & creative workmanship of Meiraas. The statement back of Airavat features the 11 trunked Elephant King, hand carved in our unit, & brought to life using very fine quality craftsmanship using very extensive and intricate Qasab (Zari) Taar Jaali stitch (inspired from 18th Century Sri Lakshmi swatch in National Crafts Museum, New Delhi).
Other stitches like Murri, Ghaaspatti, Shadow complete this stunning, exclusive Jaali motif!
The front of the kurta has a Star shaped motif to bring in the celestial connect of Airavat, and those stars have also been done in Jaali stitch and closed using Orma sitch. The neckline has a ghaspatti bel.
The base of this stunning Yellow Kurta is handwoven Eri/Ahimsa/Peace Silk, with work done in shades of Rust & Dark Chocolate.
This is Quiet Luxury like never before! Just like Airavat & the species he birthed on Earth, this kurta represents Power & Gravity with its conceptual motif work that connects to our history, but also carried forward Ethical & Conscious tradition, with the use of Ahimsa Silk.
