Patangbaazi or the Kite Flying ritual is a practise local to Lucknow’s bygone era of Culture and Revelry. It is a deeply embedded cultural motif or iconography of the city’s famed tehzeeb.

POSHAAK (about the dress):

The lovely blue tunic has a ghaspatti neckline. It features the unique motif of Patangbaazi (Kite) created by Meiraas under their Falaknuma collection in 2018.

Very fine resham shadow work creates the famed Kites of Lucknow all through the Kurta and its statement back, in soft yellow shade. This gives a delightful pastel on pastel interplay to the Kurta.

Mukaish detailing adds to the subtle charm of this statement Chikankari kurta.
