The colour of the saree is inspired by freshly blooming summer roses that light up any place with their beauty and fragrance. POSHAAK (about the saree): Hand Embroidered meticulously on luscious Pure Silk Chiffon, this Rose coloured Pink Ombre dyed Mukaish saree is made with Daana Mukaish, scattered all through the floaty fabric. From Queens like Maharani Gayatri Devi, who wore much subtler version and colours of these, to legendary singers like Begum Akhtar who wore deeper & richer colours, albeit simple Mukaish, but done allover..to Bollywood heroines of that era who wore much heavier Mukaish (as most films were black & white and they wanted embroidery to show even in that camera), the timelessness of Mukaish embroidery in that era inspired these sarees. Even then, most of these sarees were made on Pure Georgette fabric to give a luxurious fall. POSHAAK (about the saree): This lovely deep wine coloured saree has Mukaish hand embroidery all over. The palla has the Meiraas Exclusive motif of Kabootarbaazi (Flight of the Pigeons), in a flight pattern on the palla.
