Mukaish Heirloom Dupatta by Meiraas in soft Moonga Silk fabric. Mukaish is a 16th century Heritage Art from Lucknow, India, & was heavily patronised by the Nawab Dynasty of Awadh. This hand embroidery art form uses metal wires of in gold hue to make intricate patterns on fabric.
These dupattas are stand alone statement pieces that will add understated elegance to any outfit within minutes.
KHAYAAL (Mood-board): The first dewdrops of the morning that catch the rays of the rising sun, that is Mukaish. The fireflies that play hide & seek in fragrant jasmine bushes under the night sky, that is Mukaish. The millions & millions of stars in the galaxy that illuminate the sky with their mystery, that is Mukaish.
POSHAAK (About the dress): This dupatta has a natural silk base that is creamy in texture. The addition of Mukaish on top gives the visual effect of a glass of bubbling & yet elegant champagne.
