Mukaish Dupattas

Mukaish or Kaamdaani or Badla is a hand embroidery hailing from around 14th century India. This embellishment art that is native to Lucknow, grew immensely under the patronage of Nawabs. This embroidery uses thin metal wires beaten flat to enable embroidery on fabric, instead of thread. Meiraas follows all heritage processes of Mukaish Karigari to enable a perfectly finished piece to adorn. We have largely used stitches of Mukaish like Daana & Tiki to create these subtle Dupattas for your festive wardrobe.
